'Ventures! I love going on 'ventures with my folks, especially when I get to see my Peeps!
We went on a very special 'venture to Colorado to meet some peeps that I haven't gotten a chance to meet yet! The highlight of my journey was meeting my Great-Grandpa Gibbs! We got to hang out with him and then spend two nights up at his cabin in Estes park- The Gibbs Rufhaus! Thanks Great-Grandpa! We also got to spend Saturday with the Hiromitsu's sans Erika. We had a great lunch and I got to show off all my tricks!
We spent our first two nights at Hotel Gibbs in Lakewood with Uncle Johnny and Cousin Lena. Thank you for letting us stay with you!
On Saturday, we spent the afternoon celebrating Daddio's birthday at Aunt Linda and Uncle Dan's. It was 80 degrees so we got to hang out in the backyard with Murphy and Eric. I got to show off all of my tricks outside this time! Aunt Linda made a great birthday dinner complete with ice cream cake! We were joined by Uncle Johnny, Lena, Dan's brother, Steve, and Eric's girlfriend, Zanette. A great time was had by all!
On Sunday, we hit up Pablo's, our local Denver coffee shop, with Tamaru, Takeo, Fumie, and Naomi, and then we were off to Estes Park for some relaxing family time, river walks, and nature viewing!
We had a great time and I survived my first and second flights! Thanks everyone for all Daddio's birthday goodies! Thanks Grandma for the ride to the airport, and Granddad & Grammie for picking us up!
